To say there are
numerous pubs and bars along the Shannon would be an understatement -
even the smallest villages have half a dozen pubs. We have only listed a
small selection here - when you arrive you will have a much larger
choice. What to drink when you get here? Well, you have to try the Guinness - but remember that in Ireland it can take 15 minutes to pour your pint, so be patient. Many of the bars offer live music and some offer sport on TV. If you want to have a bite to eat, check our restaurants section. |
